The Bewitching Magician

I found myself in an unfamiliar room where a seductive magician who called herself Cassandra smiled down upon me. "Finally awake, dearie? Wonderful! Then it seems my experiment was a success!"

I assaulted my captor with panicked queries, but she simply shrugged them all aside. "I hope you're looking forward to doing as you're told," she said. "After all, I gave birth to you, so you can't refuse."

Terrified, I made to run. But I couldn't move! "Oh dear," she said. "What a naughty boy. I will have to punish you for that, oh yes." She gave a cold smile and extended a hand toward me, causing me to shriek.

The hand knocked a bit of dust from me. "Heavens, but you're a feisty one," she said. "Don't you realize what's happening here?" The truth slowly dawned on me. I'm not a human at all—I'm a BOOK!

You are Douleur, she cackled. "A magic diary I created!" Questions flooded into my mind, but above all else, I swore to have my revenge for the teasing she had put me through!
