Ver 1.22.1 Version Update (July 27, 2020)[edit source]

Update Details

Draconic Essences

  • New draconic essence items, which will allow the player to unbind 5 Icon Rarity 5.png dragons, will be added starting July 28, 2020 6:00 UTC, after the automatic update to version 1.22.0.
  • Using a certain amount of these materials will allow the player to unbind a specific dragon.
  • The player can get draconic essences as drop rewards from certain quests like those in the main campaign on Hard and Very Hard difficulties. Each time the player clears an applicable quest you will receive one draconic essence, but there is a limit on how many the player can obtain each day. The player can continue to play the applicable quests even after they have reached the daily limit for how many draconic essences you can obtain.
  • The player can use the draconic essence icon displayed on the area map for each chapter in the main campaign to check the dragon whose draconic essence the player can obtain, how many draconic essences they currently have, how many more they can obtain, and the quests from which they can obtain draconic essences.
  • The dragons the player can unbind using draconic essences after the automatic update to version 1.22.0 are as follows.

Changes to the Effects of Abilities based on Dragon Unbinding Progress

  • Starting July 28, 2020 6:00 UTC, the first ability of all dragons will be upgraded based on the dragon's unbinding progress.
  • Note: 200017 01.png Gala Cat Sìth is the only dragon whose second ability will also be upgraded based on unbinding progress.
  • Each dragon's might will also be adjusted based on their unbinding progress.

Improvements to Certain Action Elements

  • The following action elements will be improved.
  • The force strikes of Icon Weapon Axe.png axe, Icon Weapon Bow.png bow, Icon Weapon Wand.png wand, and Icon Weapon Staff.png staff adventurers will be adjusted so they can be charged and activated while moving. However, some adventurers, such as the following adventurers, as well as adventurers who can use altered or upgraded force strikes, may be unable to charge their force strikes while moving.
  • Note: The adjustment described above will be applied at July 28, 2020 6:00 UTC.
  • The attack effect for bow force strikes will be changed so they vary based on the user's attunement.
  • Adjustments will be made so adventurers who have been knocked to the ground are able to dodge when getting up.
  • The amount of time players are unable to control the controlled adventurer immediately after using certain adventurer skills will be shortened. The affected adventurers and skills are as follows.

During Sacred Blade, the user's standard attack patterns will change, the skill gauge for Eternal Grace will be gradually filled by 85 SP every second for 7 seconds, and the user will be unable to move, use force strikes, or dodge. This skill will also become Revelation's Purge and be immediately readied for use. Sacred Blade will end after a set period of time, or after using Revelation's Purge.

      Revelation's Purge deals 8 hits of 13% wind damage to multiple targets and enemies near those targets, and inflicts poison - dealing 58.2% wind damage every 2.9 seconds for 15 seconds - with 120% chance. Targets will be chosen by their proximity to the user, and if the number of enemies available to target is fewer than the skill's number of hits, this selection process will be repeated for the remaining hits.

      The skill gauge for this skill can be filled by attacking enemies, but it will also gradually fill automatically. Abilities that increase skill gauge fill rate will not affect this automatic increase. [1 SP]

      If the user's HP is above 30% of max HP, Renegade Shadowblaze reduces their HP to 30% of max HP and deals 1 hit of 1212% shadow damage to enemies directly ahead. Damage will be increased as the user's HP decreases, up to 1 hit of 3636% shadow damage. Using Renegade Shadowblaze will consume all of the user's dragondrive gauge. [7338 SP]

Fixed Issues

  • The explanation text on the screen that displays when accepting a reward that has reached capacity as a completion reward for an endeavor or as a reward for The Royal Regimen was sometimes partially cut off.
  • On the co-op room screen, when the player selected Edit Team, then selected Edit Teams and tapped History before returning to the room screen with a Preferred Team set, a Change button that was not intended to display was displayed. If the player tapped that Change button and used it to select a team, the team would not change to the team that was selected.
  • In dragon battles during the Nadine and Linnea's United Front event, the adventurer 110291 01 r05.png Marth's Icon Ability 1020026.png Last BoostLv. 1: Fills 50% of the entire team's skill gauges when the user's HP drops to 30% (once per quest). This does not fill the skill gauges of dragons.

The charge gauge fills when Coalescent Light is used, and the amount the charge gauge fills increases based on the number of team members in Coalescent Light's area of effect when it is used. When the gauge is completely filled, Surging Light, Coalescent Light, and the user's force strike will each be upgraded once. These upgrades will not stack, and will be consumed on use. The upgraded force strike will lower foes' paralysis resistance by 20% for 20 seconds. This resistance reduction effect will not stack. on the adventurer 110299 02 r05.png Radiant Xuan Zang's mana circles, the displayed description text was cut off.
  • In Icon Element Flame.png Ayaha & Otoha's Wrath on Standard and Expert difficulties, if the controlled adventurer was restrained by Ayaha & Otoha's (human form) Hakkeyoi skill while using a helper skill, their skill icons displayed as if the skills were available for use even though they could not actually be used.
    • Note: This was merely a display issue. Adventurers were unable to use skills while restrained.
  • In Icon Element Flame.png Ayaha & Otoha's Wrath on Standard and Expert difficulties, the effect icons for the enemy abilities Warabe Asobi, Tosenbo, and Toryanse sometimes continued to display after the effects had ended.
  • In Icon Element Flame.png Ayaha & Otoha's Wrath on Expert difficulty, the butterflies that appeared around adventurers when Ayaha & Otoha (beast form) used their Kagome Kagome skill sometimes behaved differently than intended.
  • While playing co-op in Icon Element Flame.png Ayaha & Otoha's Wrath on Expert difficulty under certain conditions, the animation for the transformation from Ayaha & Otoha (human form) to Ayaha & Otoha (beast form) did not always display on the host device. During this time, Ayaha & Otoha (beast form) sometimes attacked or moved during the transformation on guest devices.
  • While playing co-op in Icon Element Flame.png Ayaha & Otoha's Wrath on Expert difficulty, if Ayaha & Otoha (human form) transformed into Ayaha & Otoha (beast form) while using their Hakkeyoi skill under certain conditions, sometimes the animation only played for Otoha.
  • In Icon Element Flame.png Ayaha & Otoha's Wrath on Expert difficulty, Ayaha & Otoha (beast form) sometimes used their Hana Ichi Monme skill without first moving to the intended location.
  • In The Agito Uprising on Expert and Master difficulties, if Volk, Ciella, Ayaha & Otoha, or Kai Yan were affected by debuff zones under certain conditions, the defense decrease effect did not always end, even though the effect time for the debuff zone had ended.
  • In Icon Element Flame.png Ayaha & Otoha's Wrath, allied AI adventurers would not always attack the Weak Point that appeared when Ayaha & Otoha (human form) used their Hakkeyoi skill or the black and white butterflies that appeared when Ayaha & Otoha (beast form) used their Abukutatta Nietatta skill.
