Ver 1.18.0 Version Update (March 25, 2020)[edit source]

Update Details

Event Compendium

  • An Event Compendium feature will be added that will allow players to play certain events held in the past anytime. This will give players who started the game recently the opportunity to get facilities and other rewards from past events. The Event Compendium will unlock at March 27, 2020 6:00 UTC.
  • Note: There may be some changes, such as the features or rewards.
Addendum March 27, 2020 7:30 UTC
  • With the addition of the Event Compendium, the TW02 101101 IMG 01 01.png Wind Shrine from the A Wish to the Winds facility event can now be leveled up to a maximum of level 35.

Chain Co-abilities Are Here

  • With the new update, all adventurers will gain Chain Co-abilities. Unlike existing co-abilities, the effects of chain co-abilities will stack when there are multiple abilities with the same effect.
  • Example: If an adventurer with the (Flame) Defense +10% chain co-ability and an adventurer with the (Flame) Defense +5% chain co-ability are on the same team, the combined effect will be Defense +15% for all flame-attuned adventurers on the team.

Changes to how the Effects of Co-abilities are Applied in Co-op

  • Up to this point, co-abilities affected all adventurers participating in a quest, regardless of whose team the adventurers belonged to.
  • Going forward, the co-abilities from the player's team will apply only to the adventurers who belong to them. If only one of the adventurers participating in the quest is from the player's team, then the effects of co-abilities from other adventurers in the team will apply to that adventurer.

New Fafnir Medal Item

  • After March 27, 2020 6:00 UTC, you will have a random chance of obtaining new items called GatherItem 10001.png Fafnir Medals when you clear a quest. You can trade medals that you've collected for various items in the Treasure Trade.
  • Note: This does not apply to certain quests, such as The Mercurial Gauntlet and Astral Raids.

Resetting the Social Reward for Co-op

  • The number of times players can obtain the social reward, which can be obtained by playing co-op with another player for the first time, will be reset at March 27, 2020 6:00 UTC. After clearing a quest, players can get Icon Wyrmite.png 50 per player (up to 50 times).

Summon History

  • Players will be able to check a record of summons they had performed in the past via Help/Support on the Menu. Up to 30 summons from the past two weeks (14 days) will display in summon history. If two weeks (14 days) have passed since they last summoned, or if there are more than 30 summons recorded, older entries will be removed from the history.

Other Changes

  • Normal endeavors where players can get rewards for using Skip Ticket.png Skip Tickets to clear Avenue to Power, Avenue to Fortune, and Elemental Ruins quests will be added at March 27, 2020 6:00 UTC.
  • The content of standard daily endeavors will be changed at March 27, 2020 6:00 UTC.
  • The smithy level requirement for crafting 3★ core weapons will be removed at March 26, 2020 3:30 UTC. Note: This applies to tier one, tier two, and tier three weapons of all weapon types.
  • An explanation called Skills that Target Multiple Enemies will be added to the Battles section under Help.
  • The UI on some screens will be adjusted.

Balance Adjustments

Drop Rewards in Advanced Dragon Trials

  • The following balance adjustments were applied in a data update applied around March 25, 2020 3:00 UTC.
    • Adventurer experience and the number of rewards dropped was increased when clearing Avenue to Power.
    • 2 Icon Rarity 2.png wyrmprints and 2 Icon Rarity 2.png core weapons no longer drop when clearing Avenue to Fortune and Elemental Ruins quests.
    • Tier one 3 Icon Rarity 3.png core weapons now drop in Elemental Ruins, Dragon Trials, and The Imperial Onslaught quests on Beginner difficulty.
    • Tier two 3 Icon Rarity 3.png core weapons now drop in Elemental Ruins, Dragon Trials, and The Imperial Onslaught quests on Standard difficulty.
    • Tier three 3 Icon Rarity 3.png core weapons now drop in Elemental Ruins on Expert difficulty, and in Dragon Trials and The Imperial Onslaught on Expert and Master difficulties.
    • Note: The attunement of weapons dropped will vary based on the element of the quest.
  • The following balance adjustment will be applied at March 25, 2020 6:00 UTC.
    • The number of rewards in the daily bonus for clearing Avenue to Power will be increased.

Issues Fixed

The following issues have been fixed in this version:

  • When 110300 01 r04.png Pipple was included in the team, sometimes the 100001 01 r04.png Prince and 100001 08 r05.png Gala Prince appeared on the Home page simultaneously.
  • The visual effects for certain adventurers and weapons did not display correctly when using skills or force strikes with Minimal Mode enabled. The applicable adventurers, skills, and force strikes are as follows.

      Lv. 3: Deals 3 hits of 332% and 1 hit of 415% shadow damage to the target and nearby enemies. Damage will be increased as the user's HP decreases, up to 3 hits of 747% and 1 hit of 933.75% shadow damage total. [3291 SP]

      Lv. 4: Deals 3 hits of 597% and 1 hit of 686% shadow damage to the target and nearby enemies. Poisoned foes take 3 hits of 716.4% and 1 hit of 823.2% shadow damage instead. The lower the user's HP, the more damage this skill deals. This increase caps at 3 hits of 895.5% and 1 hit of 1029% shadow damage. For poisoned foes the cap is instead 3 hits of 1074.6% and 1 hit of 1234.8% shadow damage.

      If the user's HP is above or equal to 50% of max HP, consumes 10% of max HP to fill this skill's skill gauge by 20%. [3291 SP]

  • The applicable weapons are as follows.
  • After using a continue or a revive during a quest, the stance-switching button showed a different stance than the one that was active.
  • When inflicting Burn, Paralysis, or Poison several times on the same enemy, the damage resulting from these afflictions was different from the expected value.
  • In co-op, when dispelling the Burning Ambition buff applied by using 110346 01 r05.png Nobunaga's Icon Skill 075.png Dream OffensiveLv. 1: Deals 1 hit of 647% flame damage to enemies in a line, and applies Burning Ambition to enemies with 100% chance for 30 seconds. Enemies will take 1 hit of 1420% flame damage when Burning Ambition's effect ends. Burning Ambition does not stack, and cannot be reapplied to enemies still affected by it. Burning Ambition will be triggered if dispelled. Burning Ambition may deal lethal damage. [3300 SP]

    Lv. 2: Deals 1 hit of 680% flame damage to enemies in a line, and applies Burning Ambition to enemies with 100% chance for 30 seconds. Enemies will take 1 hit of 1490% flame damage when Burning Ambition's effect ends. Burning Ambition does not stack, and cannot be reapplied to enemies still affected by it.   • On the co-op room screen, if another player left the room while you were checking that player's information, the player's information displayed as "Dummy."
  • 110349 01 r05.png Lathna's Icon Skill 067.png Chaos GiftLv. 1: Deals 3-7 hits of 179% shadow damage to the target and nearby enemies. Poisoned foes take 3-7 hits of 402.75% shadow damage instead. Continually tapping the screen during the attack will unleash additional blows, with up to a maximum of four. [2854 SP]
