The Royal Regimen

The Royal Regimen is a tutorial-like series of Endeavors that teaches how to play Dragalia Lost.

Overview[edit | edit source]

The Royal Regimen's endeavors give tasks that guide the player through basic progression and game mechanics in Dragalia Lost. These include completing the Main Campaign; upgrading adventurers, facilities, and equipment; and completing late-game content such as standard-mode High Dragon Trials and The Agito Uprising.

These tasks act mostly the same as regular Endeavors, but are in a separate menu and must be completed in sequence. If, for example, the player has completed the task for endeavor #10, but they have not yet completed endeavor #9, then they cannot claim their prize for completing endeavor #10 until after they have also completed endeavor #9.

Each endeavor will also have an extended description with more details about the task, as well as a "Go" button that will take the player to a menu relevant to the task - for example, an endeavor requiring progress in the Main Campaign will go to the Main Campaign screen.

The endeavors are divided into three stages: Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced Drills, and these are sequential in the same way as the endeavors themselves. Stage 1 must be completed before advancing to stage 2, etc.

The Royal Regimen's endeavors will apply retroactively for players who had completed tasks before entering the Regimen's menu. However, there are a couple of exceptions to this:

  • "View the Wyrmprint Section of the Treasure Trade" - requires the player to visit that section again, regardless of whether they have accessed it before.
  • "Obtain Glorious Tempest from the Treasure Trade" - if the player has never obtained Glorious Tempest through Treasure Trade specifically, but instead by other means, such as the March 2020 Catch-Up Campaign endeavors. In such a case, redeeming an additional copy of the Wyrmprint from Treasure Trade will complete the endeavor.

Notable rewards include a total of 10301.png 5★ Summon Voucher (Adventurer) x4, 10302.png 5★ Summon Voucher (Dragon) x3, and Icon Wyrmite.png Wyrmite x4,400. Most of the other rewards are upgrade materials, positioned in such a way to speed up completion of the Royal Regimen itself.

The Royal Regimen is accessible via a window on the home screen before the entire regimen is complete. After completion, the window will disappear. The player may go back to view the endeavors under More -> Player Info.
