Summoning is one of the key mechanics of Dragalia Lost. To obtain new Adventurers and Dragons, players are required to summon through the Summoning menu using Icon Wyrmite.png Wyrmite, Icon Diamantium.png Diamantium, or 10101.png Summon Vouchers. Prior to Version Update 1.7.1, Wyrmprints were also obtained through summoning. Wyrmprints are now purchased in the Shop with Icon Resource Eldwater.png Eldwater.

Summoning Basics[edit | edit source]

Inside the Summon menu, players will be able to view active summon showcases that feature adventurers and dragons with a higher summoning rate than usual. Limited-time adventurers and dragons can only be summoned on their showcases, as well as revivals of their showcases, and in some cases, a new showcase that also features limited-time units. Non-limited units always have a chance to be summoned in the regular pool. All adventurers and dragons, with the exception of story adventurers, event welfare adventurers, high dragons, story dragons, void dragons, and event welfare dragons, are obtained via summoning.

In rare circumstances, limited-time adventurers may end up being released into the regular pool after a certain amount of time have passed, such as the case with 110043 02 r05.png Valentine's Hildegarde, 110011 02 r04.png Valentine's Ezelith, and 110052 03 r03.png Valentine's Orion in the Ardent Admirers summon showcase, who all became permanent as of the Dulcet Delights summon showcase.

It is also possible for non-limited-time adventurers and/or dragons to be introduced with a summon showcase that also introduces limited-time adventurers and/or dragons, such as the case with 210052 01.png Prometheus in the Ardent Admirers summon showcase again, or 110299 02 r05.png Radiant Xuan Zang, 110322 01 r05.png Zhu Bajie, 110323 01 r04.png Sha Wujing, and 210085 01.png Tie Shan Gongzhu in the Gala Dragalia (May 2020) summon showcase, for a Gala Dragalia example.

Inside most summon showcases, there are 3 different options to choose from to start a summon: Daily Deal, Single Summon, and Tenfold Summon.

The currency required to summon is as follows:

Daily Deal Discounted price single summon that resets daily Icon Diamantium.png 30
Single Summon Pull once for a single summon Icon Wyrmite.png 120 or Icon Diamantium.png 120 or 10101.png Summon Voucher

Summoning Mechanics[edit | edit source]

Upon choosing a summon type and currency to spend, players are brought to an animated scene where a character summons a ray of light granting an item, which drops either a weapon, or cluster of crystals.

If the item is silver, it is a 3 Icon Rarity 3.png rarity, if it is gold, it is a 4 Icon Rarity 4.png rarity, and if it is a rainbow, the item is a 5 Icon Rarity 5.png rarity. A weapon means the item is an adventurer that uses that weapon type, and a cluster of crystals means the item is a dragon.

Sometimes, the last item in a summoning batch may change color to rainbow when it lands on the platforms. This means that the item is actually of a 5 Icon Rarity 5.png rarity. However, note that this cannot happen when using single summons in batches of 2 - 9, as the animation of the items falling does not play.

Prior to Version Update 1.7.1, summoning could also drop a tablet of three different rarities/colors, meaning that the item was a Wyrmprint.

Teasers[edit | edit source]

A variety of teasers may appear when performing a summon, each holding different meaning for the summon results:

  • If one white dove flies past the screen, the resulting summon includes at least one 4 Icon Rarity 4.png or higher.
  • If multiple white doves fly past the screen, the resulting summon includes at least one 4 Icon Rarity 4.png or higher.
  • If the gemstone on the statue has a rainbow coloring, the resulting summon includes at least one 5 Icon Rarity 5.png.
  • If two Gold Fafnirs appear next to the summoner, the resulting summon includes at least one 5 Icon Rarity 5.png.
  • The circle in the sky will start blue, then may change to yellow, and may once again change to rainbow before it disappears.
    • If the final state of the circle is blue, the resulting summon is a 3 Icon Rarity 3.png or higher (only viewable in single summons, since tenfold summons guarantee 4 Icon Rarity 4.png or higher on the last item in the batch)
    • If the final state of the circle is yellow, the resulting summon includes at least one 4 Icon Rarity 4.png or higher.
    • If the final state of the circle is rainbow, the resulting summon includes at least one 5 Icon Rarity 5.png.

Rarity Distribution[edit | edit source]

The following table displays standard summon rates.

Featured 5 Icon Rarity 5.png adventurers and dragons have a base summon rate of 0.50% and 0.80% respectively (1 in 200 and 1 in 125 summons). The individual rates for featured lower rarities vary depending on how many units of those rarities are in the featured pool.

  • Under most circumstances, 5 Icon Rarity 5.png items won't split rates; each item will have their full featured rate.
  • If the summon showcase features 4 Icon Rarity 4.png adventurers or dragons (henceforth collectively referred to as items), they split a fixed 7% rate.
    • Divide the fixed 7% total featured rate by the amount of featured items to get the individual rate. Examples:
      • If there's only one featured 4 Icon Rarity 4.png item, the featured item will have a 7% initial rate.
      • If there's two featured 4 Icon Rarity 4.png items, they will have a 3.5% rate each, totalling 7%.
      • If there's three featured 4 Icon Rarity 4.png items, they will have approximately 2.333% rate each, totalling 7%.

Pity Rate[edit | edit source]

For every 10 summons in a row that a 5 Icon Rarity 5.png fails to appear, the 5 Icon Rarity 5.png appearance rate will increase by 0.5%. This will reset back to the base rates if a 5 Icon Rarity 5.png is pulled, even if it is a duplicate.

The maximum 5 Icon Rarity 5.png rate with pity added is 9%, after which the next summon is guaranteed to be a 5 Icon Rarity 5.png summon (if a tenfold is performed, then the first item is the guarantee).

Maximum pity can be achieved after 100 summons with no 5 Icon Rarity 5.png on a regular summon showcase, or 60 summons with no 5 Icon Rarity 5.png on a Gala Dragalia Showcase.

Wyrmsigils[edit | edit source]

Wyrmsigils

For every summon performed, the player will receive 1 Icon Wyrmsigil.png Wyrmsigil. For summons performed with Icon Diamantium.png Diamantium (paid currency), 2 Wyrmsigils will be received per summon instead.

If 300 Wyrmsigils are collected from a single Summon Showcase, the player will be able to choose one Adventurer or Dragon from that Showcase to receive. The Adventurers and Dragons on offer will vary by Showcase. Note that Wyrmsigils cannot be transferred between Showcases.

When a Showcase ends, if the player has at least 300 Wyrmsigils in their possession, they will be given a 24-hour grace period to redeem them. After that period, or if the player had less than 300 sigils, all of the player's leftovers will be converted into 124001001.png Wyrmsigil Remnants. These can then be traded for various items in the Shop's Treasure Trade.

Duplicate Summons[edit | edit source]

It is possible to obtain multiple copies of dragons. However, if summoning an adventurer that was already obtained, the player will receive Icon Resource Eldwater.png Eldwater instead. The amount of eldwater received depends on the rarity of the adventurer.

Adventurer Rarity Eldwater Gained
5 Icon Rarity 5.png Icon Resource Eldwater.png8,500
4 Icon Rarity 4.png Icon Resource Eldwater.png2,200
3 Icon Rarity 3.png Icon Resource Eldwater.png150

Prior to Version Update 1.7.1, the rewards for duplicate adventurers were the following:
