Icon Buff 2010009.png Inspiration is a special kind of buff which upgrades certain skills once enough inspiration levels have been accumulated. Once an adventurer reaches inspiration level five, they will become "inspired," and their next attack skill will have 100% critical hit rate on of the skill's hits.

  • Being inspired only affects attack skills, and not any other kind of skills (recovery, buffs, debuffs, etc.). Even if an attack skill also has a buffing effect, the benefits applied by being inspired will only apply to the skill's damage.
  • Once an adventurer's inspiration level has been increased to at least one, this will be indicated by an icon on-screen, and their exact inspiration level will be shown by the number paired with this icon.
  • Using a skill upgraded by being inspired resets the user's inspiration level and ends the inspired state. Furthermore, becoming afflicted will also have the same effect. While afflicted, you cannot gain Inspiration stacks.
  • For skills and abilities that are boosted by the number of buffs applied (such as 110018 01 r04.png Karina's Icon Skill 011.png Raging Tide) unlike other buffs, inspiration level counts as one buff no matter how many times the user's inspiration levels are increased.

Icon Skill 083.png Bon AppétitLv. 1: Applies one of the following effects to the entire team based on the user's current cooking stance:
Appetizer Stance: Increases defense by 15% for 15 seconds, and inspiration by one stage. This defense increase will not stack.
Entrée Stance: Increases critical rate by 10% for 15 seconds, and inspiration by two stages. This critical rate increase will not stack.
Dessert Stance: Increases strength by 8% for 15 seconds, and inspiration by one stage. This strength increase will not stack. [10595 SP]

Lv. 2: Applies one of the following effects to the entire team based on the user's current cooking stance:
Appetizer Stance: Increases defense by 15% for 15 seconds, and inspiration by two stages. This defense increase will not stack.
Entrée Stance: Increases critical rate by 10% for 15 seconds, and inspiration by three stages. This critical rate increase will not stack.

Icon Skill 051.png Bracing SummerLv. 1: Consumes all stacks of Overload, and applies one of the following buffs at random to the user for each stack of Overload consumed:
- Increases inspiration by two stages
- Adds 10% to the modifier applied to critical damage for 30 seconds
- Increases critical rate by 15% for 30 seconds

The same buff will not be granted multiple times by one use of this skill. If this skill is used when the user has three stacks of Overload, all three buffs will be granted to the entire team. If this skill is used when the user has no stacks of Overload, one random buff from the above will be granted to the user. [3812 SP]

Lv. 2: Consumes all stacks of Overload, and applies one of the following buffs at random to the user for each stack of Overload consumed:
- Increases inspiration by two stages
- Adds 15% to the modifier applied to critical damage for 30 seconds
- Increases critical rate by 20% for 30 seconds

The same buff will not be granted multiple times by one use of this skill. If this skill is used when the user has three stacks of Overload, all three buffs will be granted to the entire team. If this skill is used when the user has no stacks of Overload, one random buff from the above will be granted to the user. [3812 SP]

Icon Skill 121.png Coalescent LightLv. 1: Partially fills the user's charge gauge by 20 CP, as well as 10 CP for every nearby teammate, and adds 15% to the user and nearby teammates' shadow resistance for 10 seconds. This shadow resistance increase will not stack. If this skill is used after the user's charge gauge has filled, a variant called Lightstream will be used instead.

Lightstream increases the entire team's strength by 15% for 30 seconds. In addition, Lightstream adds 30% to the user and nearby teammates' shadow resistance for 15 seconds, and inspires the entire team. This shadow resistance increase will not stack. [4500 SP]

Lv. 2: Partially fills the user's charge gauge by 20 CP, as well as 10 CP for every nearby teammate, and adds 20% to the user and nearby teammates' shadow resistance for 10 seconds. This shadow resistance increase will not stack. If this skill is used after the user's charge gauge has filled, a variant called Lightstream will be used instead.

Lightstream increases the entire team's strength by 20% for 30 seconds. In addition, Lightstream adds 40% to the user and nearby teammates' shadow resistance for 15 seconds, and inspires the entire team. This shadow resistance increase will not stack. [4500 SP]

If this skill is used during dragondrive, a variant called Tentacle Mirage will be used instead.

Tentacle Mirage deals 4 hits of 401% water damage to enemies in a line. Frostbitten enemies take 4 hits of 641.6% water damage instead. [6400 SP]

Lv. 2: Deals 4 hits of 354% water damage to enemies in a line, inflicts frostbite - dealing 28.7% water damage every 2.9 seconds for 30 seconds - with 120% chance, increases the user's inspiration by two stages, and raises the user's dragondrive gauge by 530 UTP. If this skill is used during dragondrive, a variant called Tentacle Mirage will be used instead.

Tentacle Mirage deals 4 hits of 447% water damage to enemies in a line. Frostbitten enemies take 4 hits of 715.2% water damage instead. [6400 SP]
