Description

She saw naught but the ruins of her capital, heard naught but the lonely moaning of the wind. Having awoken from her slumber, the queen was left to wander a world devoid of the people she once knew.

Her country swallowed by the sands; her cherished days lost to time. Stripped of all she cared for, the Queen was left only with a gaping hole in her heart.

In time, she found herself at an ancient castle in a foreign land. A familiar air hung about the place, and her heart drank it in like an oasis.

Her frigid body warmed by the caring of her new comrades, she found herself reminded of days long past.

The world is ever changing, yet some things remain constant. Though the queen's country had fallen, she did not mourn indelibly—for the kindness of her new friends had filled the hole in her heart.
